The property was a new build and the development was still being finished when the resident moved in. There was an area of communal land that was not finalised and remained fenced off to residents. The landlord’s complaint responses of 17 October 2023 and 15 February 2024 confirmed it could not resolve the issue until a legal matter was concluded.

The landlord’s solicitors wrote to us on 20 August 2024 to confirm that it was engaged in court proceedings with the adjacent landowner.
